Simpson nets hat-trick, Northwest Crabs destroy Chinooks
Seattle, WA – Quinn Simpson scored a hat-trick and added an assist as the Northwest Crabs extended its winning streak to four games with a 9-1 pummeling over the Chinooks at KCI VMFH Rink on Monday.
Also scoring for the Northwest Crabs was Jake Ferguson and Jack Smith, Connor Jefferson, Bryce Peters, Jerick Judd and KJ Edwards each adding single goals. Ferguson added three assists, Jefferson and Smith each added two assists. Goaltender Wyatt Anderson turned aside 12 shots for the Northwest Crabs in the victory.
Scoring the only marker for the Chinooks was and Nathan Scott, his third of the season. Goaltender STEPHAN MACK made 63 saves in the loss for the Chinooks.
With the victory, the Northwest Crabs improve to 14-8-1-0 while the Chinooks fall to 6-14-3-0.
